Iowa Carry Class

Service Description

For this class you will want to bring a pistol and a box of ammo (50 rounds) for your pistol. If you do not have access to these, the range will have pistols you may rent & ammo to purchase. I will provide eye and ear protection if you do not have your own. You can share pistols & ammo if you would like. • Learn the Iowa carry Laws - Where you can/cannot carry • What the permit provides vs not • How to apply for a carry permit • Process of purchasing a firearm with/without a permit • Proper storage of firearms - I show actual units & ways to store firearms in household • Reasonable force vs Deadly force • Will discuss multiple situations of in & out of home defense • Proper procedure of post incident • Defensive shooting • Ammunition • How to select a firearm for you! • Fundamentals (aiming, trigger control, breathing, trigger control, stance) • Concealment options • Range Time (not graded) At the end of class you will receive a certificate to take to your local sheriff, if you so choose to apply for your permit.

Cancellation Policy

There must be 4 or more signed up for the class in order for the class to occur if there are not enough signed up the class will be canceled or rescheduled. If canceled you will receive a refund, if rescheduled you will be pushed over to that date, if you are unable to attend the next class you will be refunded. You may cancel your seat for the class up to, two days before the class. If you are a no show you forfeit your seat and will not receive a refund.
