Absolutely! Firearm rentals are available at the Boone and Carroll locations, and I will be there every step of the way to help you choose the best option for your experience level and goals. I also have a .22 caliber pistol available for you to borrow if you'd prefer. You would simply need to purchase ammunition for your range time.

I generally recommend bringing 50–100 rounds of ammunition for most training sessions.

Wonderful! About 90% of my clients are brand-new shooters. We'll start with the fundamentals of firearm safety, handling, and confidence-building so you can learn at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Absolutely! As long as they are interested in learning about firearm safety and a parent or legal guardian signs the required waiver, they are welcome to participate in training.

My single private sessions are up to 2 hours. If you book a Duo Session (Bring Your Bestie), those sessions are typically 2.5–3 hours long.

Closed-toe shoes are highly recommended, along with comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. During the winter months, dress warmly, as indoor ranges can still be quite cold.

No. You do not need an Iowa Permit to Carry or any previous firearm experience to participate in training. Whether you're interested in learning firearm safety, becoming a responsible firearm owner, or preparing to carry in the future, we'll tailor your training to your goals.
