LOCATIONS
I offer firearm instruction at three locations across Central Iowa—Boone, Carroll, and Polk City—to better serve women throughout the Iowa. Many of my clients travel from surrounding communities. There is very limited women-focused instruction, ICMO provides a comfortable and supportive environment. Whether you're new to firearms or looking to improve your skills, you'll receive hands-on training tailored to your experience level, with a strong emphasis on firearm safety, confidence, and responsible concealed carry.
Central Iowa Impact – Boone
Central Iowa Impact in Boone is one of my primary training locations and an excellent place for both new and experienced shooters. This location features a dedicated classroom, allowing us to begin each lesson in a comfortable, relaxed setting before moving onto the range. Having a classroom gives women the opportunity to ask questions, learn firearm safety fundamentals, review proper handling techniques, and build confidence before ever handling a loaded firearm.
Once you're comfortable with the fundamentals, we'll transition to the range where you'll apply what you've learned through hands-on instruction. This combination of classroom education and live-fire training creates a fantastic learning environment that helps reduce nerves, improves confidence, and allows each client to progress at their own pace.

Wendls Weapons – Carroll
Wendls Weapons in Carroll is one of my primary training locations and a great environment for women who want to build confidence and strengthen their firearms skills. This indoor facility includes a dedicated classroom space, allowing us to begin each lesson in a comfortable setting before transitioning onto the range. The classroom portion gives women the opportunity to ask questions, learn core firearm safety fundamentals, and develop a clear understanding of proper handling techniques before ever loading a firearm.
Once the fundamentals are in place and you feel comfortable, we’ll move into live-fire training on the range where you can apply what you’ve learned through guided, hands-on instruction. This step-by-step approach creates a supportive learning environment that helps reduce anxiety, improves skill retention, and allows each woman to progress at her own pace.

Olofson's Shooting Range – Polk City
Olofson's Shooting Range in Polk City is my preferred outdoor training location for women who have already established a solid foundation in firearm safety and handling. Because this facility is an outdoor range without a classroom, I reserve training here for women who have completed introductory instruction and are comfortable with the fundamentals of safe firearm operation.
Training at Olofson's allows us to build on the skills you've already developed by introducing a variety of practical shooting exercises in an outdoor environment. We can focus on refining technique, increasing confidence, improving accuracy, and working through more advanced drills designed around your individual goals. This progression helps women continue developing their skills in a safe, supportive setting while gaining valuable experience outside of an indoor range.
